Website & sale terms
Terms & conditions.
The conditions that apply when you browse Laundivo, submit an order request or purchase through the website.
Last updated: 4 November 2026
1. About the website
Laundivo operates from Pretoria, South Africa and provides a catalogue of laundry care and organisation products. Contact: hello@laundivo.co.za. The legal entity name, registration particulars and any VAT number will be disclosed before payment-enabled trading is activated and on the applicable invoice or order confirmation.
2. Catalogue mode and activation
While the storefront is in catalogue mode, adding items to a basket or submitting an order request does not conclude a sale and no online payment is taken. A binding sale arises only when Laundivo confirms the final product, quantity, price, delivery charge and availability, you accept those terms, and payment is received. When PayFast checkout is activated, the checkout review and payment flow will record the order offered and accepted.
3. Product information
Laundivo takes reasonable steps to present products accurately. The supplied launch images are presentation mock-ups. Colours may vary by screen, and final dimensions, capacity, closures, pack quantities and labelling must be confirmed before payment-enabled sales open. Accessories or styling props shown in a photograph are not included unless the listing expressly says so.
4. Prices, tax and errors
Prices are in South African rand. Catalogue prices are provisional and exclude delivery unless stated otherwise. Any applicable tax will be dealt with as required by law. Laundivo may correct an obvious pricing, description or stock error before accepting an order. If payment was already taken for an order that cannot lawfully or reasonably be fulfilled, Laundivo will offer the appropriate correction, substitute where agreed, or refund.
5. Basket and checkout review
You must review the selected products, quantities, optional label choice, contact information, delivery address, delivery fee and total before submitting an order. You may correct or remove items before final submission. Do not complete payment if the order summary is incorrect.
6. Payment
When activated, payment may be processed by PayFast or another disclosed provider. Payment credentials are held in secure environment variables and full card details are not intended to pass through Laundivo’s own systems. An on-screen return page is not by itself proof of payment; the order is marked paid only after the server receives and verifies the payment-provider notification.
7. Availability and cancellation
Stock is not reserved until the order is accepted and payment has cleared. Laundivo may decline or cancel an order where stock is unavailable, fraud is reasonably suspected, payment cannot be verified, an error materially affects the transaction, delivery is not reasonably possible, or the law requires cancellation. Any amount properly received for a cancelled order will be refunded, subject to lawful deductions.
8. Delivery, returns and risk
The Delivery & returns policy forms part of these terms. Risk passes as provided by applicable law and the agreed delivery method. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or other applicable law.
9. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website; attempt unauthorised access; introduce malicious code; scrape the site in a way that harms availability; impersonate another person; submit false payment or delivery details; or use Laundivo content or branding unlawfully.
10. Intellectual property
The Laundivo name, trade marks, catalogue text, page design, graphics and commissioned imagery are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use the website for personal shopping and reference. No broader licence is granted without written permission.
11. Third-party services
Payment, hosting, email and courier services are provided by independent third parties under their own terms. Laundivo remains responsible for its own legal duties but is not responsible for a third party’s independent system beyond what the law provides.
12. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Laundivo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable from a breach. This clause does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for unsafe or defective goods, gross negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct.
13. Governing law and disputes
South African law governs these terms. Please first send a written complaint to hello@laundivo.co.za so Laundivo can try to resolve it. A consumer may use any regulator, ombud, court or other remedy available by law.
14. Changes and severability
Laundivo may update these terms prospectively. The version accepted for a transaction remains relevant to that transaction. If a clause is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
